Meet Coach Resa

Theresa Aristomene, Development Coach & Facilitator

Theresa’s work-life philosophy centers around a very powerful quote by Maya Angelou:

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to THRIVE; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

Theresa was always known to her friends and colleagues as a goal-getter, accomplishing everything she set out to.

But when she was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease, Lupus, this goal-getter would completely change. No longer would she allow herself to dare to dream.

All she wanted to do was live to see another day. Existing was just enough.

After experiencing the powerful breakthrough of coaching for herself, she finally remembered exactly who she was and what her God-given purpose was. From then, she vowed to herself that despite the worst things happening in life, she would always continue to strive to thrive and help others to do the same.

DevelopingNoire was founded in 2017 to do just that - help Black professionals, entrepreneurs and creatives gain the self-awareness they need to get unstuck so they can grow and glow more effectively! Theresa strongly believes that individual growth is what leads to team and organizational growth which makes for a better world.

She brings with her a wealth of HR/Leadership Development and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion experience to the practice to serve clients of color who are looking to grow in their career, business and life.

Theresa earned her ICF approved certification in Personal and Executive Coaching from the CaPP Institute and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Brooklyn College.
